'Amends' is a tight, driving pop song about a strained relationship with a friend stuck in a cycle of moving to new cities after continually ruining friendships. Layers of chiming, arpeggio guitars culminate in a crushing outro that lyrically begs the question, "Honestly do you have no resolve?" Arguably the catchiest and most deliberately concise song on the Outside Lies Magic LP.
